Focus Your Audio has been described by The Georgia Straight (Vancouver, BC) as Bobby’s “blackheart guitar leavened by Sarah’s, angels-and-whiskey vocals.” They are a culmination of west coast grit with east coast charm, perfectly fused together creating an unrestrained balance. Their music seamlessly weaves together the best parts of Indie Pop, Alt-Folk and Rock and Roll. Sarah’s voice is a sonic avalanche packed with passion and depth while Bobby provides the perfect musical landscape around it. Their chemistry together is palpable in their material. They emulate a natural passion that is impossible to fake.

Their accolades include working with Grammy nominated, Swedish DJ & record producer StoneBridge (Beyoncé, Robin S, Ne-Yo) who remixed their last single release, “On Your Own (StoneBridge Mixes)". Having received over 7,500 streams in its first week of release, the remix was featured on SiriusXM StoneBridge BPM Mix Ch 51.

Mike Young (Mother Mother) has continued to produce & play instrumentation on their last three single releases for Focus Your Audio, accomplishing over a 300,000 streams alone. All three singles received national and international radio play, streaming, reviews and were added to official playlists such as CD Baby - Canadian Sounds, BBC hit show Normal People, Netflix’s - The Half of It. Press has included, being featured in Canadian Music Week (Toronto, ON), Canadian Beats, (Toronto, ON), Aesthetic Magazine (Toronto, ON), Dropout Entertainment (Toronto, ON), Tinnitist (Winnipeg, MB), The Hot Press (Ireland), The Georgia Straight (Vancouver, BC), KMS Reviews (Germany), & Raincity Collective (Seattle, WA).

Focus Your Audio has toured western Canada with critically acclaimed, award-winning singer-songwriter, Tobias the Owl. They have also had the pleasure of being the opening artist for multiple, Juno nominated, Samantha Martin and Delta Sugar. This summer the band will be headlining Valhalla Music Festival on the live stage June 30th in Terrace, BC while touring northern BC. Focus Your Audio has had the opportunity to regularly play historic venues such as The Railway Club in Vancouver, BC and The Ironwood Stage in Calgary, AB. 

Their debut EP (2019) was recorded at the iconic Warehouse studio in Vancouver, BC with Juno & Canadian Music award winning engineer & producer, Sheldon Zaharko. This EP garnished accomplished musicians to the project such as Johnny Andrews on drums (Hey Ocean, Tegan & Sara) & Mike Young on bass (Mother Mother & Devon Townsend). This EP resulted in a nomination for best audio engineering at Breakout West.

Adam Hurstfield is a multi-platinum producer/songwriter and owner of XOXO Entertainment Corp, has co-wrote/produced Focus Your Audio’s next release. This single will be released 2024 through XOXO Entertainment Corp.
